Christantus Uche Ignites Comfortable Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their first-ever European campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Missing star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their next match against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal direct entry to the last 16, particularly following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's fringe players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, finding the net for the second game in match.
The Shelbourne team that had concluded their domestic season proved outmatched even for a mostly second-string Palace outfit. The visitors were already depleted by the news that Mateta and Muñoz are out with leg problems.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
